Shaw Industries recently announced that one billion square feet of EcoWorx, the world's first cradle to cradle certified carpet has been installed worldwide. Producing EcoWorx instead of the original PVC based carpet tile has saved approximately 594,785 barrels of oil, 224.6 million lbs CO2 emissions and 3.5 trillion BTUs of energy.
